Our Veterinarians

​Dr. Kevin Mara
​Dr. Kevin Mara attended Fitchburg State College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology, before later graduating from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Concord for his first job after veterinary school and has stayed in the area since then. He's been in the veterinary field for 37 years, formed our clinic 31 years ago, and has been a veterinarian here the whole time. In his free time, Dr. Mara enjoys going to Cape Cod and spending time with his dog Gatsby (who you will see often in our clinic).

Our staff are dedicated to making your friend comfortable during their visit. If for any reason they need to stay for extended period of time rest assured that they are in capable hands. Take a minute to get to know our staff below.

Rebekah, Office manager
Rebekah moved to New Hampshire in 2001 and has started working with us in 2003. She has been in the veterinary field and working at our clinic for a total of 17 years. In her free time, Rebekah enjoys outdoor activities (such as skiing, horseback riding, and exploring the woods) and spending time with her family (including 3 grandchildren) and friends. At home, Rebekah lives with her husband, children, as well as all of her pets. She has 2 dogs, cats, goats, chickens, a horse, guinea pigs, and an African Grey Parrot.

cindy, Certified VETERINARY  TECHNICIAN
When Cindy first moved to New Hampshire, she first encountered us when bringing in her pets for appointments. She later chose to go to school at the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, hoping to work at our clinic in the near future. Cindy has been a veterinary technician here for 12 years. When not here at the clinic, she spends time with her husband, son, Doberman named Duke, Labrador Retriever named Lady, and cat named Kosmo.

NICOLE, VETERINARY  TECHNICIAN
Nicole has been a client with us since 1996 and later attended the University of Maine for Animal Science. She's been working at our clinic for 5 years. Nicole loves seeing all of the pets that come in but is especially skilled at working with "angry cats". When she's not at the clinic, Nicole enjoys watching the Yankees, swimming, and spending time with her boyfriend and daughter Lucy. She has 3 cats (Luna, Winston, and Whiskey), 1 dog (Captain), and 2 sugar gliders (Bailey and Tequila).

Olivia, VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Olivia first came to our clinic for an internship through the University of New Hampshire as a part of their Veterinary Technology program to gain more experience. After graduating from this program, she stayed with our clinic. Olivia has been a veterinary technician here for the last 4 years. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding and being outdoors. Olivia has a Golden Retriever mix named Lacey, guinea pig named Freddie, and Quarter Horse named Sugar.

Kayla, Certified veterinary Technician
Kayla graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth. She then moved close to our clinic and joined our team as a veterinary technician. She has been working in the veterinary field for 5 years and at our clinic for about 3 years. In her free time, Kayla loves hiking, camping, and reading. At her house, she enjoys spending quality time with her cat named Ears, dog named Tuuka, 3 turtles, her boyfriend, and her son Michael.

ANGELICA, VETERINARY ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST
Angelica is a sophomore at the University of Connecticut where she is majoring in Animal Science on a Pre-Vet track. When she is not studying there during the school year, Angelica is here at our clinic. She has been a part of our team for 2 years. Angelica has aspired to be a veterinarian since she was 8-years-old and is interested in small and exotic animal medicine or specializing in radiology. She enjoys going on walks, attending concerts, and relaxing with her cats (Winnie, Cali, and Abby).

Bri, VETERINARY  TECHNICIAN
Originally from Maryland, Bri attended Harford Community College before becoming a veterinary technician. She moved to New Hampshire in May 2022 and arrived shortly after moving at our clinic to be with all of our amazing staff, where she's been for 2 years. Bri works hard in appointments and when assisting during surgeries. At home, she has two Domestic Short Hair tabby cats named Nala and Piper and a Mini American Shepherd named Peri.

Marissa, VETERINARY  TECHNICIAN / Receptionist
Marissa graduated from NHTI with a General Studies Associates Degree, and she is taking classes through Penn Foster's veterinary technician program. She brought her pets to CNHAC growing up, and joined our team in December 2023. Marissa has been in the veterinary field for 2 years and is especially interested in wildlife and exotic animals. She has 2 dogs (Gunner and Toby) and 3 cats. In her free time, Marissa enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and baking.
